Augmented Reality (AR): This technology superimposes computer-generated images into the user's view of the real world. This is the technology that fueled Pokémon Go.

Virtual Reality (VR): Virtual reality is a fully computer-generated simulation of a 3D environment. To interact with a VR program you have to wear a helmet or special goggles to enter the virtual world. VR has been popular in the video game industry for some time.
